 He recently won the Award for Best Actor at the Prague Independent Film Festival (2022) for his main role in Feature Film The Ghost Writer (2022)Luke was nominated for an Canadian Screen Award for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role' for his performance as alcoholic neurosurgeon 'Dr Simon Hill' in ABC/Global TV's Combat Hospital (2011).Luke continues to create a wide range of work on stage and screen with leading roles in independent/studio feature films as well as television.Early successes were as the 'Private Clifton in the cult film 28 Days Later... (2002) directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle, 'Prince Edvard in Paramount Pictures The Prince and Me (2004) and as the famous White in the BAFTA Nominated and Award winning Award award winning and BAFTA Nominated Exam (2009) Directed and Written by Stuart Hazeldine and Produced by Oscar winner Gareth Unwin.Other performances include as Journalist 'James Lathom' on CBS's NCIS: New Orleans (2014) as well as 'SAS Sergeant. Maj. Nigel Wickham' in the CBS series SEAL Team (2017), as a terminally ill father 'Terry Pryde' in movie Break (2020) "Scott" in War of the Worlds (2019) and in the Award nominated feature film The Ghost Writer (2022) in which he played the leading role of the character of a Novelist who gradually loses his ability to think.
