Mark Bowe

 The show is all about the old-fashioned virtues like perseverance, hard work and compassion, as well as friendship. As the show enters its third season Bowe is adjusting to the pressure of being recognized by fans from close and far, while he attempts to keep a sense of normal family life in the Greenbrier Valley with his wife Cindy and their son Atticus.A Glasgow, West Virginia native and WVU graduated, Mark began his professional life as a mine safety tech. His entrepreneurial instincts started to resurface in 1996, and- after helping one of his friends tear down an old barn -- he launched Antique Cabins and Barns. The company led to a chance encounter with a documentary filmmaker and eventually his TV show, which features the same charming, fun talented team that has worked with him for years.The Bowes moved to Lewisburg in 2001 and have been a integral part of the Lewisburg community since then. Mark is also the proprietor of Antique Cabins and Barns and has served on the City Council for a term. Cindy, a natural organizer and a natural leader, was the catalyst for the launch of the United Way's Chocolate Festival, which draws thousands to the area every spring.
