Meaghan Reed Oppenheimer, an American screenwriter and playwright is also an actor, producer, and showrunner. Her most notable achievement is the creation of the Facebook Watch dark comedy series, "Queen America". Oppenheimer is an Oklahoman native and has been writing since she was a child. Oppenheimer has been involved in regional theatre, and also worked on numerous regional TV shows. After having graduated from Holland Hall, she enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts which is where she received her degree in the year 2009. Oppenheimer relocated to Los Angeles in order to begin her career as screenwriter. Her first screenwriting project was the script for "Hot Mess", a 2010 short film. Based on the Richard Silverman story, she wrote the screenplay for "We Are Your Friends". She wrote the episode Fear the Walking Dead in 2015. She created a short-lived drama about a mystery, which featured Penelope Ann Miller, for ABC in 2016. In her role as an actress she's appeared in TV shows like "Even Stevens," "stalkTALK', and 'How to Marry a Billionaire'.
