Meaghan Oppenheimer

 Meaghan Reed Oppenheimer is an American screenwriter as well as a playwright, actress, producer, and showrunner. She is the creator of the Facebook Watch dark comedy series "Queen America". Originating from Oklahoma, Oppenheimer has been writing since she was young. Oppenheimer was a part of regional theatre and appeared on regional TV shows. After finishing her studies at Holland Hall, she enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts which is where she received her degree in 2009. Oppenheimer then moved to Los Angeles to start her career in Hollywood. Her first screenwriting project was for the script of the short film of 2010 "Hot Mess". From a Richard Silverman story, she co-wrote the screenplay of 'We Are Your Friends'. In the year 2015, she worked as a writer on an episode of the show 'Fear the Walking Dead'. In 2016, she created an episodic mystery drama featuring Penelope Ann Miller for ABC. She has appeared on television shows like 'Even Stevens and'stalkTALK'.
