Australian actress Abbie Cornish is also known under her rapper name Dusk. Cornish's leading role in 2004's Somersault is among her most famous film roles. She played the heroin addict Candy (2006), the courtier Bess Throckmorton (historical drama Elizabeth: The Golden Age 2007), Fanny Brawne (John Keats biopic Bright Star 2009), Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy (2011) and Martin McDonagh (2012). Cornish was the second child of Shelley Cornish and Barry Cornish. Her sister, Isabelle Cornish, is also an actress. Cornish grew up on a 70 hectare (170-acres) farm in her home town of Cornwall prior to making the move to Newcastle, New South Wales.
