Alison Doody

 Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966, in a well-off family. Doody is the youngest of three. She was raised in a convent and was awed by the arts. She later studied at the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left because she lacked the motivation and decided to have a year to consider the idea. In the meantime, as she was sitting in a cafe with her friends, she was approached by a photographer who asked her to decide if she wanted to model. She said yes, believing she could make money. Modeling was both profitable and enjoyable, and soon became a professional model. She was able to perform commercial work under her modeling contracts. One day the casting director noticed her work and suggested she take up acting instead. She was sent to London aged 19 which was where she won an audition to be part of the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). She so loved acting that she pursued an acting career. Following her debut film was made, she shot several TV dramas in London and Dublin However, her biggest breakthrough came when she got cast as Aryan seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (19
