Angie Harmon, an American model and actress, has been featured in a variety of films and TV shows throughout the years. In the beginning, she was a model for a living before gaining international recognition she ventured into acting. She started her acting career in 1995 with the television series 'Baywatch Nights'. She is also an actor and voice-actress, having contributed her voice to the animated version of the movie "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". Harmon quit TV series work in 2000 , and made the decision to pursue film work. She was back in the acting of TV series after appearing in a handful of films. In 2008, she was one of few actresses who posed naked in "Allure" magazine. Her major work has been in the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series "Rizzoli & Isles'. Her reputation was highly praised for her performance as a detective and received accolades.
