Her birth name was Beyonce Giselle Knowles in the year 1991. The group was sacked from Star Search in 1992. After three years, the group was dismissed by a record deal. In 1997 , the fortunes of Destiny's Child reversed with the signing of a Columbia recording contract , followed by an album with the same name that yielded the hit single "No, No, No Part 2." The sequel album, The Writing's on the Wall (1999) was a huge success, earning the group two Grammy Awards and sold more than eight million copies in the United States. The group's third album, Survivor (2001), was a top-selling album on the Billboard 200 charts.
