Cate Blanchett

 Cate Blanchett, an Academy Award-winning Australian actor and director of theatre, is best known for her roles as Elizabeth I of England and Katharine Hepburn in the movie "Elizabeth.". Blanchett is not just an actor, but she has had an extensive career in the theatre. She was four times Helpmann Award recipient for the "Best Female Actor in a Play' prize. She first became interested in acting in her college days but was confused about pursuing acting professionally. She attended the University of Melbourne to study Economics, but dropped out quickly to pursue an acting career. After her studies were completed, she flew to Australia and began attending acting classes. Then, she got her first acting job. She was able to establish herself as a successful actress not only in her native country, but also internationally over the next few years. She is the only actor to have received Academy Award nominations for the identical role in two films where she portrayed Elizabeth I (Elizabeth The Golden Age) and March 2018. In addition she is the sole Australian artiste to receive two Academy Awards for acting.
