Chris Tucker

Chris Tucker was once the most lucrative Hollywood actor. He was born to Mary Louise (Bryant), and Norris Tucker (who owned a Janitorial business). After graduating from high school, Tucker changed his plans to relocate to Hollywood from Georgia to pursue a career in show business. He was often appearing on Def Comedy Jam (1992). Tucker was known for performing exceptionally "clean" and non-sexy stand-up comedy routines. Tucker claimed that his comedy influences were Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor. Tucker made his film debut in House Party 3 (1994) with stars such as Bernie Mac, Marques Harris, and Khandi Alex. In 1995, Tucker made an appearance in one of his most notable and hilarious films Friday (1995) with Ice Cube. Tucker's character Smokey was an outlandish and energetic drug addict. Tucker's style of TV comedy was different from his stand-up comedy, as seen in Friday (1995). In 1995, Tucker also appeared in in another film, Dead Presidents (1995).In 1997 was the busiest year for Tucker's career. Three of his most viewed movies were all shot during the same time frame: The Fifth Element (1997), Money Talks (1997) and Jackie Brown (1997).
