Colin Kaepernick

 Colin Rand Kaepernick, an American professional football quarterback. As a child he was interested in baseball, football, and basketball. He played all three major American sports with considerable success. When he was accepted into a junior football team, he started playing football at the age of eight. He played as a punter and defensive end. In the following year, he became the team's quarterback and made his very first pass for a long touchdown. As an pitcher, he could throw fastballs up to 94 miles per hour. He was also part of his high school's baseball team. He was a leader in his team in basketball to the state championship playoff. Kaepernick would like to play football in college, despite his baseball achievements. He went to the University of Nevada, Reno and joined their Nevada Wolf Pack football program. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers as their back-up quarterback. He was 25, and was instrumental in the 49ers making it to the NFC championship. He drew both praise and criticism in 2016 when he protested against what he believed was the oppression faced by races that aren't white in America.C
