Colin Kaepernick

 Colin Rand Kaepernick is an American professional football quarterback. As a child Kaepernick was interested in football, baseball, and basketball. He participated in the three of the major American sports with impressive success. After being accepted into a junior football team, he started playing football when he was eight years old. He was a punter as well as a defensive end. The following year after that, he was named the team's quarterback, and threw his first pass for long touchdown. As pitcher, he was able throw fastballs at 94 miles per hour. He was also a member of the high school's baseball team. He led his team in basketball to the high school state championship game. Kaepernick would like to play football at college despite his achievements in baseball. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno and was a part of their Nevada Wolf Pack football program. The 49ers of San Francisco drafted the quarterback as their backup. He was only 25 and played a key part in the 49ers' winning the NFC title. In 2016, he faced criticism and praised for protesting against the oppression faced by white Americans who aren't white.
