Pena then founded The Guthrie Group as a consultancy firm. Pena was the founder of the company in 1997. He is still involved as the chairman and founder. He is the CEO of multiple businesses, has written books, and invented the Quantum Leap Method, which coaches in Scotland. Pena teaches at Guthrie castle.
