American actor Emily Mallory Procter can be present in American films and television. Majoring in journalism, she stepped into the turbulent world of entertainment as a weather forecaster. With the help of her father, she attended acting classes and began appearing in small yet significant roles in hit TV shows like 'Friends' and 'Lois & Clark'. In 1995 she made her big screen debut with the Academy Award-winning film Leaving Las Vegas. The next year, she starred alongside Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger in the movie 'Jerry Maguire'. 1999 was an extremely busy year for the talented thespian who played support roles in four distinct films. Between 2000 and 2002, she played featured in the "The West Wing". She also appeared on the show in 2006 prior to landing her breakthrough role as Calleigh Duquesne on the police procedural drama CSI: Miami.
