Francine York

 Francine York was born in the small mining town of Aurora, Minnesota to her parents, Frank and Sophie Yerich. Francine York was five years old when her family, which included her older sister Deanne, moved to Cleveland. In Cleveland, she began writing short stories and began acting. Francine, who played Griselda in the Hodge Grammar School production Cinderella when she was nine she made her stage debut. Francine was the evil stepmother, was initially a bit disappointed in not being selected for the leading role. Francine who was initially disappointed about not being given the starring role, ran into the audience to tell her mother that she would like to become an actor. At the age of 12, Francine was 12years old, she moved back to Aurora in which she continued to act in school plays and also writing, producing acting as director, and starring in a three-act show called Keen Teens or Campus Quarantine. Francine, displaying an entrepreneurial spirit even at a young age, offered five cents admission to the play, and the whole town attended the performance.
