Jennifer Coolidge is a versatile character actress as well as a comedic experiment, best known for playing Stifler's mother in American Pie (1999).She was born on the 28th of August on the 28th of September, 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, to Gretchen (Knauff) and Paul Constant Coolidge who was an industrial plastics producer. Young Coolidge was dreaming of becoming a performer. She graduated from Emerson College and Norwell High School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre. She then moved to New York, where she joined the Gotham City Improv Group. Then, she headed to Los Angeles where she became an in-demand part of "The Groundlings" comedy troupe. Her debut on television came in the form of a guest appearance on the NBC series Seinfeld (1989) in which she played a voluptuous masseuse who refuses to offer her professional services for Jerry. She was a regular character in ABC's sketch show She TV (1994), and then briefly joined the Fox's Saturday Night Special (1996) in which Roseanne Barr created.
