Julia Stiles

 Gorgeous, slim-eyed blonde Julia (O'Hara) Stiles, of Irish, English and German heritage was born on March 28 1981, in New York City, the youngest and most active of three children of the Greenwich Village artist mother, Judith Newcomb Stiles, and an elementary school teacher father John O'Hara.Encouraged to attend modern dance lessons as a child, she was exposed to Shakespeare and theater from a young age. Her stage debut came at the age of 11 when she appeared as an actress in the La MaMa Theatre, an off-Broadway theatre. She started to consider an acting career professionally and was soon employed in commercials. She was a brilliant and determined student who was deemed for the role of Claudia who was a child vampire in Interview with the Vampire Chronicles (1994). However, Kirsten Dunst won the casting. She continued training at the New York's Professional Children's School and, at the age of 15, she gave her first filmic bow in I Love You, I Love You Not (1996) featuring Claire Danes.Julia was later featured as the daughter of Harrison Ford in The Devil's Own (1997) in which her first big role appearing on the screen with the powerful mini-movie Before Women Had Wings (1997) produced by Oprah Winfrey and dealt with child abuse.
