Kate Beckinsale

 Kate Beckinsale was born on 26 July 1973 in Hounslow, Middlesex, England and has been a resident of London throughout her life. Her mother is Judy Loe, who has appeared in a number of British dramas and sitcoms and continues to work as an actress, mainly in British television shows. Richard Beckinsale was her father, and he was born in Nottingham, England. He was a star in many British TV comedies of the 1970s, such as the show Rising Damp (1974), Porridge (744) and The Lovers (1970). He passed away tragically early in 1979, at the age of 31.Kate was a student at the private Godolphin and Latymer School in London for her grade and primary school education. She was twice a winner of the British bookshop W.H. Smith Young Writers' competition - twice for short stories and another for three poems. After a troubled childhood which included anorexia and smoking for years Then she decided to take up acting as an occupation.
