Kate Capshaw

 Kate Capshaw is an American actress who rose to fame for her performance in the action adventure film "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom'. The film was helmed by the well-known Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Her notable films include "Dreamscape", "Power", as well as "Black Rain". Following her gig as Indiana Jones, she acted in numerous films, and starred alongside famous actors like Richard Gere. Indiana Jones was also the reason for her meeting Steven Spielberg. She was earlier engaged to Robert Capshaw. Their marriage broke up and they split in 1980. Steven Spielberg and Kate have seven children. In her 40s, she resigned from the film industry and began a charitable work. Kathleen Sue Nail was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Beverley Sue Simon (a beauty and travel agent) and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee). Capshaw worked as a teacher and received an MA in Learning Disabilities. She was determined to become an actress and she moved to New York to land a part on the soap The Edge of Night (1956). She met her future husband, Steven Spielberg while beating out 120 actresses to be the female lead in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).
