Kevin Costner

 Kevin Michael Costner was born on the 18th of January in 1955 in Lynwood, California, the third child of Bill Costner, a ditch digger who later became an electric line servicer for Southern California Edison, and Sharon Costner (nee Tedrick) who was an employee of the welfare system. Dan Costner, Kevin's older brother was born in 1950. The middle brother passed away at the age of birth in 1953. Kevin was a typical Army child because his father moved around constantly. He was able to be a daydreamer , and to always being the new student at school. As a teen He sang in the Baptist church choir, wrote poetry and also took writing classes. At the age of 18, he built his own canoe and paddled his way through the rivers Lewis & Clark followed to the Pacific. Despite his present height, he was only 5'2" when he left high school. He was still a basketball, football and baseball star. He was accepted into California State University at Fullerton in 1973 to study business. Kevin began to take acting classes five times per week throughout the time. He earned a bachelor's degree in business and was wed to Cindy Costner, his college sweetheart. In Orange County, he initially was employed as a marketer. It all changed when he came across Richard Burton on a flight from Mexico.
