Linda Hamilton

 Linda Hamilton is an American actress, best recognized for her role as Sarah Connor in the film 'The Terminator' as well as its sequel , 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day.' She is also known for playing the character of "Catherine Chandler" on the tv show 'Beauty and the Beast. With her distinctive voice, she is often portrayed as powerful characters, characters who are subjected to great difficulties and mishaps before achieving victory. She is considered one of the very first female action heroes of Hollywood and was dubbed 'Body of the Nineties,' thanks to her toned physique. Born into a typical Anglo-Saxon family in Salisbury, Maryland, she began her acting studies in New York City and attended workshops taught by the director Lee Strasberg. Her first job was in the television industry as an actress later moving to film. Her breakthrough came in 1984, when she played the role of 'Sarah Connor' in 'The Terminator.'
