Mandy Moore

 Amanda Leigh Moore was born on the 10th of April, 1984 in Nashua (New Hampshire) to Stacy (Friedman), an ex-news journalist, and Don Moore (an airline pilot). Her family relocated to Orlando, Florida during her childhood. It was here that she was born. She is Russian Jewish (from her maternal grandfather), English, Scottish and Irish, ancestry.After seeing the musical "Oklahoma! " and deciding that she would like to take up a singing career. She was a young performer of the National Anthem at various athletic events in Orlando, Florida. This led to her being dubbed the "National Anthem girl". At the age of fourteen, while she was recording at the studio in Orlando the Fed-Ex employee who happened to pass through listened to her and was impressed by her talents. He also knew an individual from Sony. Moore created a demo, shortly after signing a contract with Sony 550 Music. At 15, her first record "So Real" was released. Her first tour was with the Backstreet Boys.
