Master P

Percy Miller also known as "Master P" was born on April 29, 1970 in New Orleans, LA. Although he was raised in poverty in the Calliope Housing Projects, he was determined and motivated to reach his goals and aspirations that made him a successful entrepreneur. As a student athlete at the University of Houston, he took classes in Business Communications and later relocated to Richmond, CA where he started his first firm, a record store that he named No Limit Records. He turned it into a record business, which grew to be one of the most prominent music labels around the world. He became an entrepreneur in the music business and began to venture into other areas of the entertainment industry which included television, film as well as acting, production and sports. However, his enthusiasm for helping others and his philanthropic efforts inspired him to establish Let The Kids Grow Foundation. Its purpose is help youth and their families by offering families with strengthening activities within their communities. The foundation's founder Percy Miller discovered a way to keep inner city youngsters off the streets and free of drug abuse and gang violence by providing a safe haven for kids to express themselves with positive energy through film, dance and music.
