Maureen Denise McCormick, the youngest of four children, was born on 5 August 1956 to Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. The youngest of her four siblings. She has three brothers: Dennis, Kevin, and Michael. When she was six she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. It opened to the world of acting to the upcoming teens. Her first appearance in a play came at the age of seven. Soon, she was the most sought-after character for TV commercials and sitcoms. Maureen was featured on Barbie as well as Kool Aid ads, as in My Three Sons (1960), Camp Runamuck (1965) and Bewitched (1964). The voice-over recordings she recorded were created for Mattel talking dolls. Maureen was a role model for thousands of teenagers in America over the course of five years.
