Mike Murdock

 Mike is an actor as well as a writer, director, and editor. He also produces disposable heroes. He is the current director of the art department at Alchemy Theatre, Huntington, West Virginia. He has studied film, theatre journalism, and English at Ohio University in Athens, OH and Marshall University in Huntington, WV. He graduated from the former. Then he relocated to Los Angeles to create The Muse Theatre. Then, he returned to the Tri-State in order to continue to spread the message of amazing art. He has been performing professionally in the United Kingdom, Pittsburgh, L.A. and more.Before Alchemy, Mike was one of the Resident Directors at Arts Resources for the Tri-State (ARTS) for five years, during which time he was a director or actor in numerous productions. He also founded The West Virginia Shakespeare Festival (WVSHAKES) in the year 2018. now in its fifth year.
