After graduation from Indiana University, Mina wasn't sure what she wanted to donext, so while she figured it out, she worked as waitress to pay the expenses. However, she was determined to take a bigger leap and decided to purchase a home for $37,500. It was a true fixer-upper and she sought her mom's help to repair it--at the time, Karen was a lawyer.
