Necar Zadegan is a multifaceted actress who has a career on the screen and stage. Her Broadway debut came when she played the role of Leper in Rajiv Joseph's Pulitzer Prize nominated, multi Tony award-winning play "The Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo", opposite Robin Williams. She stars as Special Agent Hannah Khoury in the CBS international franchise, "NCIS: New Orleans" and has joined the cast of the much anticipated and newest installation of the Star Trek franchise, "Picard".Ms. Zadegan was initially recognized for her character in the role of Dalia Hassan, the First Lady and President of Fox's acclaimed show 24. She is also being recognized for her hilarious lead role in "Documentary Now", a docu-spoofed film which IFC launched on Netflix. It was written by Seth Meyers and features an all-star cast. The show has been nominated for multiple Emmys and is currently streaming in the UK. The show is on HBO in the drama "Here and Now" by Oscar winner screenwriter and writer and creator Alan Ball, she takes the lead in the delicate performance of Layla Shokrani.
