Nicole Kidman

 Elegant Nicole Kidman, known as one of Hollywood's most sought-after Australian imports, was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii, while her Australian parents were in the country on educational visas.Kidman is the daughter of Janelle Ann (Glenny), a nursing instructor and Antony David Kidman, a biochemist and clinical psychologist. She is of English, Irish, and Scottish origin. The family moved to Washington, D.C. shortly after Nicole was born. Nicole's father conducted his breast cancer studies there. Nicole returned to Sydney, Australia three years later in which she was raised. The first passion of Nicole's was ballet, however she later took on the drama and mime genres as well (her first stage role was as a sheep that bleated in an elementary school Christmas show). Acting became her refuge in her teenage years. Her classmates were seeking sunshine and fun and the fair-skinned Kidman offered them a way out.
