Ozzy Osbourne

 One of the pioneers of heavy metal and one of the most commercially successful and iconic artists, Ozzy Osbourne was born in Birmingham, England, as John Michael Osbourne. After leaving school and having numerous jobs that were not his, he wound joining a group together with Geezer Butler. The band split in the end which led Ozzy and Geezer to form a new group with Tony Iommi and Bill Ward in a new group that went under several names (including Earth) that ended becoming Black Sabbath after a song of the same name that was included on their first album (released 1969/70). He recorded several more albums together with Sabbath despite the decline of the relationship with Tony Iommi which , following a series of breakups, led to him leaving/being exiled from the group in 1979. In the short span of time, he launched a solo career with a line up with him that was wildly different between albums and from tour to tour. He was twice sued over the deaths of two of his fans in the teen years and was admitted to a hospital for alcoholism. After the release of his No More Tears album he announced that he would perform for the last time.
