 Parker began his mining career at age five at Grandpa John's Big Nugget Mine, Haines, Alaska. At 18, Parker moved to Klondike and was able to lease the land from Tony Beets. A genius in his own way, Parker has mined a total of over $13 million dollars worth of gold before the age of 24.Over the past three years Parker's mining exploits have led him to across the globe -- from the historic Chilkoot Trail of the Klondike Gold Rush to Guyana and the Papua New Guinea.Now the 25-year-old miner is determined to expand his operations and locate new ground that can extend the season all year round. Parker and his friends will journey for 8,000 miles from their home in Colorado to explore the vast Australian terrain.
