Paul Rudd

 Paul Stephen Rudd was born in Passaic, New Jersey. His parents, Michael Rudd and Gloria Rudd, are both Jewish. They were both born in London, U.K. He has a sister who is 3 years older than he is. Paul traveled with his family in his early years because of his father's job as an airline pilot at TWA. His family eventually moved to Overland Park, Kansas, where his mother was employed as a sales manager for television station KSMO-TV. Paul was a student at Shawnee Mission West High School as well as Broadmoor Junior High School. He graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1987, and was the student body president. Then he enrolled at the University of Kansas in Lawrence to study theatre. He received his degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West in Los Angeles. After that was completed, he took part in an intensive course of three months at the British Drama Academy in Oxford University. Rudd was a part of the Globe Theater's production of Howard Brenton's "Bloody Poetry" which included Rudd as Percy Bysshe Shelley.
