William Ray Norwood Jr. (born 17 January 1981),[1known as Ray J, is an American actor, performer and TV personality. Born in McComb, Mississippi, and living in Carson, California, he is the younger brother of recording actor and actress Brandy Norwood, and is the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg. He competed in the 9th season of Celebrity Big Brother in January 2017. 3 Willie Norwood Jr. was born to Sonja Bates and Norwood in McComb, Mississippi. His older sister Brandy is a multi-platinum recording artist. He relocated from McComb, Mississippi, to Los Angeles, California with his family in the early years of his life.
