Remy Ma

 Reminisce Mackie (stage name Remy Ma) is an American rapper, and is one of the few female rappers who have become famous in the American hip hop scene. Rapper Big Pun scouted her out after listening to her poetry and rhymes and invited her to be part of his rap group called 'Terror Squad'. Remy was signed on by Columbia Records in 2000. Columbia Records signed Remy in the year 2000. Her first single was "Ante Up Remix' from M.O.P. The singer quickly established herself in American hip-hop thanks to her unique lyrics and voice. The album that she released her debut albumentitled "There's Something About Remy: Based On an Actual Story' was released in the year 2006. It became a huge smash and garnered a wide recognition for songs like 'Whateva' or 'Conceited. Just as her career was about to take off toward a new beginning, a prison sentence came her way, and she was forced to serve six years in prison out of her eight-year sentence. In 2014, she was released and began work on her next project with Rick Ross and DJ Khaled.
