 Popstar Rihanna signed to Def Jam Records at the age of 16, and in 2005, she released her debut album Music of the Sun, that sold more than two million copies across the world. She went on to release more albums and an array of hits, including "Unfaithful," "Umbrella," "Disturbia," "Take a Bow," "Diamonds" and "We discovered love." A pop superstar from the world with a sexy and edgy style, Rihanna has also won numerous industry awards such as Grammys and MTV awards. Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on 20 February 1988, in St. Michael Parish on the Caribbean island of Barbados. She is the oldest of three children born to Monica Fenty, an accountant, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor. The early years of Rihanna's life were tainted by her father's addiction issues to alcohol and crack cocaine as well as her parents' marital problems -and they divorced when she was 14 years older.
