The constant pursuit of his childhood goals made Rob Dyrdek a professional athlete at the age of 16 and propelled him into the realm of business prior to the majority of people entering college. Dyrdek was raised in a community of entrepreneurs and learned quickly the importance of creating brands. He founded his first business when he was just 18. He was instrumental in transforming the growing apparel and footwear company into an international $500 million company by using his influence, and inventing innovative concepts and ideas. The same knowledge he gained to develop skate brands later in his career, launching the world's first true professional skateboarding league Street League Skateboarding and a first of its kind skateboarding channel ETN.That same method of brand development led him to co-create and executive produce his first television show, Rob & Big on MTV. After the success of this initial show, he launched Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory showcasing his Do-Or-Dier(r) attitude towards entrepreneurship.
