Sara Evans

This is evident on the album she released in 1997, True Lies. However, despite the critical acclaim and a nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for the most promising female singer, True Lies made little an impact. Evans was finally able to earn the respect she longed for from her childhood with her 1999 album No Place That Far, was released.
