Sophia Loren

 Sophia Loren was born Sofia Scicolone on the 20th of September 1934 in the Clinica Regina Margherita, Rome. Her father Riccardo who was married to another woman, refused to marry Romilda Villani. Romilda was the mother of his two children, Sophia and Maria Scicolone. She was raised in the Pozzuoli in the slums of Italy in the second World War, and was confronted with lots of grief. Her life took an unexpected turn for the best when, at age 14, she entered into the beauty contest and was ranked among the finalist. Sophia was 22 years old than her, and caught the attention of Carlo Ponti, a film producer. He later proposed to her. Perhaps he was the father figure she never experienced as an infant. Sophia was put under his supervision and began as an actor in the film Le sei mogli Di Barbablu (1950), then progressed to roles in supporting roles. Due to her stunning beauty, some believed she could save Lazzarus from death in these films. she was known as "Sofia Lazzaro".
