Tina Louise, an American actor, writer and singer, is well-known for her performance as Ginger Grant on the 1960s Gilligan's Island, a popular television show. In the 1950s, she started her stage actor in "Two's Company" the musical written composed by Bettle Davies. Following that, she was featured in numerous Broadway productions and was then successful in making her name on the national stage by performing in 'Li'l Abner'. In the same year, she also released her first album of music, 'It's time for Tina'. Louise was the first actress to venture into Hollywood and play Griselda Walden (a 1958 drama film). She was enrolled in Actors Studio in New York and was a student of Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she was chosen as Ginger Grant by CBS. Louise continued to juggle her career with ease between Broadway as well as television Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as an eminent glamour model
