But, all the events of his early years did not suggest that he would one day be one of the most famous actors in the world. Cruise envisioned himself as actor and priest as an teen. He was 19 years old when he received one small role in the film "Endless Love". He realized that acting was an instinctual talent and was inspired to make acting a career. He appeared in a variety of support roles over the next several decades, before landing his first major role in a romantic comedy actress in "Risky Business". He is a stunningly handsome man with boyish charms. He soon became a sought-after A-list star. He was a star when he was cast as Ethan Hunt, a secret agent in Mission: Impossible.
