Vanilla Ice

 The American singer Vanilla Ice is a single-hit sensation who gained fame through his smash hit single 'Ice Ice Baby'. Born in the name of Robert Matthew Van Winkle, Vanilla Ice was known as Vanilla Ice when he was a teen. He was the product of a dysfunctional family. He was unaware of the identity of his father's biological father and often relocated as his stepfather changed jobs. He was an underachieving student in his teens and dropped out of high school without graduating. One thing that stood this teenager apart from the other kids who came from homes with trouble was his incredible musical ability. He was a big fan of hip-hop, and he loved to break dance, especially the move called "ice". This earned him his nickname. He formed his own band, the 'Vanilla Ice Posse'. They performed on the streets and in clubs. He was also passionate about motor racing and won three consecutive championships at the National Grand Championship. After being injured and a sprain, he decided to quit racing professionally and focus his efforts on music. He released his debut album 'Hooked', later reissued as 'To The Extreme with the track 'Ice ice Baby that was his first claim to fame. The album reached No.1 on the Billboard 200 and is credited for bringing hip-hop to the white audience.
