Angie-Griffin biography

 Angela Mellissa Griffin, born 19 July 1976 [1] is a British actress. She has been a television host and host since the beginning of the 1990s. She is well-known for her portrayals of Fiona Middleton in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (1992-1998 in 2019, in 2019), Kim Campbell in the BBC One school-based drama series Waterloo Road (2006-2007, 2009-2010 2023-present), and the character of DS Lizzie Maddox in the final two seasons of the detective drama series on ITV Lewis (2014-2015). Griffin was also a founding actor in the series Holby City, playing nurse Jasmine Hopkins (1999-2001).Griffin attended Intake High School in Leeds. She was raised on Cottingley Estate, near Beeston. Her parents were an English mother and Caribbean father from St Kitts and Nevis.Between December 1992 and September 1998, Griffin appeared in the popular long-running ITV soap drama Coronation Street as hairdresser Fiona Middleton. She appeared as a guest in 2019. Griffin was an unimportant character named Tina in Emmerdale's 1993 ITV soap opera. Subsequently, she joined the cast of the BBC One medical drama series Holby City as the staff nurse Jasmine Hopkins, but left at the conclusion of the third season in 2001 as the next series was to be longer. Griffin also appears in BBC dramas Cutting It.
