Bo Burnham

 Robert Pickering "Bo" Burnham (born 1990) is a popular American comedian as well as a musician, songwriter as well as actor and filmmaker. Burnham's humor often incorporates musical, sketch and stand-up components. He was an established YouTube popular in the latter part of the 2000s, and began to gain acclaim in the decade of 2010 with his comical subversion and satirical stand-up. In the following years, he released four comedy albums on Comedy Central Records, released three comedy specials - Words, Words, Words (2010) and What. (2013) and Make Happy (2016). He also co-starred in the MTV mockumentary Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous (2013) and published Egghead The Or You Can't Survive On Ideas All by Yourself (2013). He announced a shift in his career away from comedy in the year 2016 prior to creating and directing the critically well-received drama film Eighth Grade (2018). He has also directed other comedians' comedy specials, and starred in the Academy Award-winning comedy-thriller film Promising Young Woman (2020).Burnham created and starred in his fourth special, Inside (2021), with no crew or viewers during the COVID-19 pandemic; the film was released by Netflix to great acclaim. The film was nominated in six categories during the 73rd Emmy Awards, winning Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Music Direction and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. Inside won the Best Music Film and Best Song Written for Visual Media nominations at the 64th Grammy Awards. The special featured three songs which were declared gold by the United States Billboard and the accompanying album, Inside (The Songs).
