Chris Rock

 hris Rock was born February 7 on the 7th of February, 1966 in Georgetown, South Carolina. He is a popular American comedian whose stand-up routines frequently address race-related issues. Rock grew up in the slums of Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. After dropping out of high school at 17 (he later received a high-school-equivalency diploma), Rock played small clubs in the New York area, where he was discovered by comedian-actor Eddie Murphy. Rock was made an actor on Saturday Night Live actor in 1990, after landing roles in Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Keenen Ivory-Wayans's Git You Sucka (1988). In Living Color was his first Fox network show. The show ended in 1993. He was a part of and created the script for CB4 (1993) prior to reporting on the presidential campaign in 1996 for ABC’s Politically Incorrect. Rock later appeared on the first of his HBO comedy specials, Big Ass Jokes (1994), which won the CableACE Award. Rock's popularity as an actor and comedian was waning shortly after.
