 Race For The Championship" promises to provide fans with an inside look at the lives of of NASCAR's top competitors both in and off the track. Kyle Larson's goal is to be able to live at home with his wife and their two children. Katelyn Sweet and Kyle Larson married in September 2018 after announcing their engagement the previous December. But, the couple had have been together for years before. The day they tied the knot, they were already parents to two children Owen and Audrey. They welcomed Owen to the world in 2014 and Audrey in the year before their wedding.While she considers herself a mother and a race wife, there's much more to Katelyn than the two. She was an equestrian and marathon runner and, when she first met Kyle she was no stranger to the world-class stock car track. Brad Sweet, her brother, is also a professional driver. While they share an affinity for driving, Katelyn and Kyle initially became friends over their other major love: partying. On the "Rippin the 'It" podcast in 2021, Kyle revealed t revealed the first time he met Katelyn she was a bit of a party animal. According to Kyle, his daily routine included drinking until late and getting up early in order to race, win after which he would drink again. He ran into a girl at a post-race celebration and admitted that he had drunk too much in order to impress her. Kyle said that he was partying with his friends and was probably trying to impress her. He ended up becoming "wasteful" due to this. "She as well as two of my friends clearly, I was passed out in the dirt. In bad shape and I was surrounded by colored people," Kyle revealed to the podcast. He was quite an outgoing person when he first met Katelyn. He said that his schedule included drinking the night away and then waking up drunk, racing, winning, and drinking more to celebrate. One night, he ran into an attractive girl at a party after the race and confessed to drinking way excessively to impress her. Kyle said that he was drinking with his pals and trying to impress her. He ended up becoming "wasteful" because of it. "She along with two of my friends evidently I got tossed out, like, on the ground. Poorly shaped. They colored all over me."
