Spencer Michael Rattler (born September 28th, 2000) is an American football quarterback who plays in the college football league of South Carolina. Rattler began his college career in Oklahoma before moving to South Carolina in 2021. Rattler attended Pinnacle High School, Phoenix, Arizona for his four high school years. He broke the Arizona record for high school passing on his 18th birthday Rattler threw for 11,083 yards during his four seasons, with more than 116 touchdowns on the pass and rushed for 1,040 yards and 14 rushing TDs. Early in his senior season the team was awarded MVP of the Elite 11 at The Opening in Texas.In his final season at Pinnacle, Rattler starred in Peter Berg's Netflix sports documentary series called QB1: Beyond the Lights. Rattler was then suspended for breaking a district code of conduct, and was ineligible to play for the remainder of the season for cheating. Rattler initially claimed that he suffered from an injured left MCL. However the administration of the school advised him to not divulge the details of the code of conduct violation.
