The home was designed with the intention to create a modern, minimalist house that is a reflection of Indian tradition and culture. The house sprawling over an area of 4000 sq ft in the luxurious neighborhood of Vasant vihar is the perfect example of design and art. This three bedroom dwelling along with a variety of breakout areas and bar is designed keeping in mind the requirements of the clients. Burl veneers of exotic design are used in combination with distressed wood finish, antique mirror and handcrafted furniture to create an aesthetically amazing space. This aesthetic is evident in the 17200 sq.ft. space that is the home's. It was also an expression of the home owners which came through in the contrast of Indian art, contemporary furniture and the environment, and a color palette that drew inspiration from our history. We were given the task of restoring a house that was built 40 years ago that belonged to the Bhaskars of Ishwar Nagar. The original structure was preserved. It was difficult to figure out a way to make sense of the chaos that was in the existing structure. It was not an accident that everything came together after careful planning. The modern design and style designed by us was complemented by the art and heirloom objects passed down through generations.
