 Yellowstone is an American Neowestern drama television show was created by Taylor Sheridan & John Linson. It debuted on Paramount Network on June 20 the 20th of June, the 20th of June. The show stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille and Gil Birmingham. The show follows the conflict along the shared borders of the Yellowstone Ranch, a large cattle ranch as well as the Broken Rock Indian reservation, Yellowstone National Park and land developers. After getting bored of acting, Sheridan started writing screenplays and began to work on the fifth season. The series premiered on November 13, 2022. Having lived in the regions that are rural in states such as Texas and Wyoming, Sheridan set the series in Montana and started writing the first scripts in Livingston. Sheridan presented the show initially to HBO. However, HBO rejected the idea. The show centers around the Dutton family, which owns Montana's largest ranch, the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. It is also called "the Yellowstone", the show follows the Dutton family. The story revolves around family drama at the ranch , as well as the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and the development of the park. In May 2017, Paramount Network announced that it had greenlit its first scripted show, Yellowstone. Paramount has ordered a series of 10 episodes for the first season. Sheridan was to write, direct, and executive produce the show.
