Elena Satine

Elena Satine (born November 24, 1987) is a Georgian-Americanactress and singer. She has been on television as a regular series regular on the period drama Starz's Magic City (2012-2013), ABC's drama Revenge (2014), and Netflix's Western Cowboy Bebop (211). She has also appeared on superhero-themed series, portraying Mera on Smallville (2010), Lorelei on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2014) and Sonya Simonson/Dreamer on The Gifted (2018). Satine was born in Tbilisi (capital of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic, now Georgia). Her mother was an opera singer, and her father worked in the field of textiles. At the age of five, Satine and her family relocated to Sochi in the winter of 2014, and she was member of the Georgian pop group Nergebi, a Mickey Mouse club-like group of performers for children. After touring with Nergebi throughout Eastern Europe, Satine was able to get admission to Professional Performing Arts School on the on the spot. After convincing her parents to allow her study in the United States, Satine moved to New York, nd graduated from PPAS at the age of 16. Satine pursued her Dramatic studies in Russia at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
