Canadian actress Emily Bett Rickards was born on July 24 in 1991. Her first TV role was her character Felicity Swoak on The CW's Arrow. She was also featured in The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl as Felicity Smoak. Rickards was born in British Columbia. Her mother is Dr. Diane Greig, a dream psychotherapist in Vancouver.Beginning on the path to a career at a young age, she began to explore dancing and musical theatre with the intention of taking on more serious acting. After graduating from high school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials course. She attended an audition for an agent after she finished the program. She was studying at the Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver. Rickards made her first appearance on stage in 2009 when she appeared in the video for the Nickelback single "Never Gonna Be Alone".
