Morgan Smith

Morgan Smith-Goodwin was born March 29th in 1986. Her roles include recurring characters on the television show Veep, and Messiah. Her most well-known role is Red as the "Wendy's Girl" in the commercials for TV for Wendy's restaurants in 2012-16.Born and raised in Cullman, Alabama, Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater from Birmingham-Southern College.After finishing college, she moved to New York City, where she had performed in concerts and readings as well as benefits. Smith was a founding participant in Off-Broadway's Freckleface Strawberry production. She received national recognition when she was chosen to be the face of Wendy's Restaurants' new advertising campaign, Now That's Better. The commercials for the show started airing in April 2012. Smith was naturally a dark blonde, and her hair was dyed orangey red for the commercial role. Following the show's cancellation, ended, Smith went on to recur in Seasons 5 & 6 of Veep as Candi Caruso. In the Netflix show Messiah, she recurred in the role as Agent Alison Rhymer.
